| A. J. Tomlinson, pictured here with his bible students in Culberson, NC, his first Bible School. A. J. Tomlinson founded a number of churches, schools, and orphanages during his ministry and, at first, counted himself a missionary to the Appalachian Mountains. He was looking for the Church of God of the Bible in those early days, happening upon an unique work in the mountains of North Carolina in 1896. | ||||||||||||||
