| Robert J. Pruitt was born 1-16-26 at Dabney, Arkansas. He received his elementary and secondary education in the public schools of Arkansas and Missouri, and further education at Bob Jones University (B.A. 1951), the University of Alabama and the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (M. Ed. 1964). He was also teacher and principal of public schools in Missouri and Iowa. As a minister he served as Pastor, Principal of Tomlinson Memorial School, Sunday School Editor, President of Tomlinson College, Communications Minister ( V.0.S.), State Overseer ( Missouri ), Assistant Editor ( White Wing Messenger ), and is presently serving as General Overseer of The Church of God.
